Gospel for Asia Missionary Support - Anaparthi

Compassion International Support – Elipido Devarlis Tabun

Every month each youth member is asked to donate $3.00 toward supporting our missionary from Gospel for Asia as well as our child from Compassion International. Anaparthi resides in India and is dedicated to spreading the Word of God throughout his native country. Elpido is five years old and lives in Indonesia. We help Epido attend Bible school, regular school and to get proper nutrition and medical care.

Spaghetti Dinners - Next dinner: May16, 2009

Our youth group has sponsored 2 spaghetti dinners that have hosted our church family and community. At each event we raised over $500 that was donated to such organizations as International Justice Mission, Blood: Water Mission, International Students Inc., and a Christian orphanage in Israel.

Our last spaghetti dinner (5/30) was a great success! We raised over $1750 that was divided up and given to three very worthy organizations. Visit the sites below and see the wonderful things that each of these groups do to minister to people in need!

Spread the Word (Through used Bibles)

Generation Next has collected old Bibles and distributes them at various events.

Street Talk (Honk for Jesus Ministry)

Through the implementation of 2 X 3 foam boards, we have created a series of signs that minister to the general public. These events are invigorating for all who participate!

Coffee Hour Support

The youth group hosts the Sunday Coffee Hour several times a year by bringing in homemade items, setting up the event, serving, and cleaning up.

Media

This includes picture taking at meetings and events, creating posters with Biblical messages, the creation of our newsletter, our advertising committee (commercials for younger youth at Sunday School), and a video creation team. Many of these ministries are new and we are excited about getting them off the ground and producing fruit for the glory of God!

Scarf Ministry

Members learn and participate in creating scarves for the homeless and needy people of Buffalo.
